Wendy Delaney has been a proud resident of the north side of Indianapolis for the majority of her life. After graduating from Carmel High School, she attended nursing school at Purdue University. She has worked in a wide range of different areas throughout her career, including but not limited to spending time in hospitals on the medical and surgical floors, working as a supervisor for a local hospital, spending many years in the operating room and even substituting in the schools her kids attended while they were growing up.
Speaking of her family, Wendy is a proud mom of three wonderful children, ages 17, 18 and 25. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys spending as much time as she can gardening outdoors, going on walks with her loved ones and riding horses.
Wendy is also incredibly passionate about giving back to those around her in any way that she can. In addition to her career as a registered nurse, she’s also participated in countless hours of medical mission work. She even traveled to Haiti to provide aid after their recent earthquake disaster. I was Type II diabetic. That’s right, I said WAS. Within six months on Down25, I had lost enough weight, and had gotten my A1C to the point that my other doctor told me I didn’t have to take the diabetes meds anymore. No more checking blood sugar for me!
- Brad B. – Indianapolis, Indiana
Ten weeks ago, I was still telling myself to accept 190 lb because how many 50 year-old single women keep 50 lb off for 4 years. Then, I met Dr Sipe who, in one visit, gave me means to shatter that 190 lb barrier. Down25 made losing my final 30 lb easier than the previous 50lb.
- Wendy W. – Noblesville, Indiana
As a pharmacist, I thought I understood medicine.Down25 showed me how all medications can have a big effect on my weight – either good or bad. Dr Sipe adjusted one of my medications that I had been on for years, for he knew its weight loss potential. In 2 months, this 60 year-old diabetic woman went from 160 to 145lb.
